Shane Claiborne is an author, activist and lover of Jesus. His passion for God and for the poor has led him to the streets of Calcutta serving with Mother Teresa and to the megachurch Willow Creek. Shane has stood in solidarity with those affected by war in Iraq and lives with those affected by violence in Philadelphia.
Shane lives at and is a founding member of The Simple Way, an intentional Christian community in north Philly and on the advisory board for the Christian Community Development Association. Shane will be speaking at Caritas Village on Saturday evening, Jan. 9th @ 6:30pm. This event is free and open to the public!
